Volunteer
Do you enjoy being outdoors mowing grass, weed eating, using a chainsaw, walking trails or stacking wood? Do you like to help cook meals or do some light cleaning? Do you like to make a project your own? If you answered yes to any of those questions Wesley Woods has a place to use your skills. We have 500 acres which means lots of outdoor work to be down or relaxing on a mower. We serve food in the summer and in the off season to groups and many hands make light work. We have projects that need completed like painting, flower planting or landscaping or other ways to beautify camp.

Welsey Woods Work Week

Work Weekends is a great way to help us complete the projects that are waiting on that to do list. Let us know how many will be in your group and any skills you have. We have plenty of projects for all ages and abilities. Bring your group for a day or two or come and stay for the week. We have RV sites open or cabins too.

Volunteering Camp Counselors
We are glad that you are coming to volunteer with us this summer but there are a few things we need from you:
Please go to https://wesleywoods.campbrainregistration.com and sign up for the camp you are volunteering with specifically - Choose “Volunteers 2024” as your season.
Please email your clearances and mandated reporter certificate to office@wesleywoods.com
Clearances are good for 5 years and are free for volunteers. If you have them for work and they are within the last 5 years you may submit those.If you believe you have submitted them before please email office@wesleywoods.com and we will see if they are in the new system
Clearances that you need to complete:
PA Child Abuse Clearance
Volunteers are free but you must create an account and submit and then send the results to us: https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home
PA Criminal History Clearance
Volunteers are free, submit and send us the certificate when finished: https://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp
Mandated Reporter
Is a 3 hour course that must be completed and submit the certificate at the end. Create an account and you can stop along the way to finish over different days. https://www.reportabusepa.pitt.edu/
FBI Fingerprinting
FBI fingerprinting COST OF $22.60 or volunteers if you have lived outside of PA within the last 10 years you need to submit your FBI fingerprinting which is done through https://www.identogo.com/ create an account and find a location near you. You must sign up ahead of time and go to the location to be fingerprinted. Once your results come back to you we need the result form.
