Dear Campers and Parents,

Another adventure-filled summer camp season is about to begin!

The Western PA United Methodist Camping Program is one of a kind. We provide you with a unique adventure
that is sure to excite, encourage, and engage your spiritual life.

   We pride ourselves on giving our campers (of every age!) a Christ-focused week. Learning about God and God’s
creation and exploring how to live a life that is modeled after Jesus Christ is something that is highly valued by our
carefully selected staff and our dedicated volunteers.

   We at Wesley Woods, Camp Allegheny, and Jumonville realize that there are many choices for spending your time
this summer; athletic practices and sports camps, dance recitals and concerts. We understand the importance of
these things, but we also understand the importance of nurturing relationships with Christ. When everything else
goes away, Christ will always be there. Choosing to spend a week at church camp--removed from the distractions of
life and completely focused on God--will give you the opportunity to grow spiritually, increase self-esteem and
self-awareness, and learn how to live as a disciple of Christ.

    On behalf of the staff and counselors, we welcome all campers, new and veteran, to another great summer camp
